An indepth look at Travis Kelce (TE)

Kelce currently has 10 receptions for 166 yards. That's an average of 16.6 yards per catch.
His longest reception is 27 yards and he is averaging 55.3 yards per game and 1 touchdown so far.
Additionally, he leads all other TEs with 5 catches of 20+ yards and 90% of his catches are for first down, which ranks first among tight ends percentage wise.

Still not impressed? Well he's been doing this on limited snaps and targets - but both are on the rise each week - and should continue to rise.
I have Kelce in all 3 of my leagues now. In two of the leagues, I have Gronk, already. I just made trades in 2 leagues to receive Kelce within the last 24 hours.
He's slightly still under the radar - but as you can see, he has made progress each week.
Get him while you still can.

Dropped him last week to pick up Quick and didnt like doing it. Picked him up again this week when pitta went down. Gonna roll with him at my #1 from here on.

Dumped Rudolph for him last week in one league. Have J Thomas in another.

I'm trying to get him in the league where I owned Rudolph. Dude has 3 te's, owns Charles and won't swap me Kelce for Knile.

I traded Jeremy Hill for Kelce in one league. Traded Asiata for Kelce in another league.
Just to give you an idea of what I gave up for him. In both leagues, I have 6-7 backs and felt like I could lose the depth.

He will be a high end TE1 later this season.

I drafted Jordan Reed, but picked up Kelce after week 1. Reed went down so I picked up and started Delanie Walker.
On draft day I thought TE was a weakness, but now with Walker and Kelce I really feel it's a strength of my team especially as we start to hit the bye weeks.

He still has good value in fanduel I can tell you that.

After Pitta got hurt, I had to choose between Delanie Walker and Kelce...I am rolling with Walker, but it was a tough choice. I can't add both and figure Walker's upside is just as high as Kelce's (see Dallas performance)

Gotta go with Walker there. He's been lights out. Crazy that he's doing so well for a small TE.

Just traded Cooks for Kelce in my standard league. No consistent TEs available on the WW in my 12 league. Sigh.
Rolling with Hopkins, Benjamin, Green, and Evans as my receivers. Evans SHOULD pan out finally with Glennon slinging the ball around

Dont fall in love with that 1 good week brah. It's over and doesnt do anything for you now. It will be the outlier. Locker just isnt good. Walker is decent but limited physically.
And while Alex Smith isnt great, at least he can complete passes at a nice clip. Kelce has shown he is a playmaker with the ball in his hands.

Would you rather have Kelce or Paul?
Posted on 9/24/14 at 3:37 pm to BlueIndian420
Kelce. Paul is playing on borrowed time until Reed comes back.

Even assuming that he doesn't, id still take kelce. Jmo

I have been starting Kelce since W1 in 3 leagues.

I have him in all 3 of my leagues now. In 2 of those leagues, I also have Gronk. I'm thinking I'll trade Gronk in a few weeks once he is back to form.

I think Washington goes to more two TE sets to help their run game even more while setting up a plethora of receiving options for Cousins when Reed comes back.
