Pittsburgh sports radio guy claims Miles called Michigan re head coach job...

...but the call wasn't returned by their AD.

I wonder how much truth there is to this. This is on the MSB in a thread about their AD on the verge of getting canned, and I thought the Rant might appreciate it being posted here too.
ETA -- The radio guy apparently is from Pittsburgh, not Michigan, but he is a Michigan fan with apparent contacts at Michigan. I think the guy is probably full of crap, but he put it out there.

My three separate sources tell me that the next domino to fall is Brandon. He must go before any potential football coach can be approached as he totally botched the Hoke hire, never offering the gig to Miles or either Harbaugh. As a matter of fact, he never even returned calls to Les Miles when he was interested. In his mind Hoke was the only option from day one.

Time to fire up the coaching changes board

Jeez!
Both Harbaughs might be ready to bolt their NFL gigs. Harbaugh not seeing eye to eye with 49ers brass. I could see other Harbaugh leaving the Ray Rice fiasco as well.

Well considering the Mich AD is about to lose his job I doubt he was returning anyone's phone calls
Also that prob never happened

I would not be upset if they called Miles this time around and I am a pro Miles guy.

Les wouldn't call Michigan his agent would

If I believed 1% of things I've read on this board... Miles would be at Michigan, Saban would be at Texas, and Cam Newton would've been in eligible and Auburn would be on probation.
I could probably add more....

i would like to think if a coach played football at LSU, loved LSU, and one day was in a position to be a candidate at LSU, he would at least see what's up and what his option are.
people who act (predominantly in a state where being here/home is better than anywhere else) like he should have some loyalty to LSU over his alma mater doesn't make sense to me.
it's all "ME ME" thinking and refusal to look at the big picture or consider what may actually be important to someone else. I could live anywhere else in the world and LSU will always be home to me. why disregard someone's connection to a place?

Could be a decent replacement if Miles did leave, but Miles ain't leaving.
