First off, I'm not a "sunshine pumper"...I am a realistic football fan. I know LSU probably won't win 10 games this year. But, it's time to move on from the loss and start thinking positively about this weeek's game! I think this next game will give the team an opportunity to gain some CONFIDENCE back. Coach Miles is a great coach, and we'll bounce back.

Forever LSU!

Which is the problem. Sunday is the day for grieving after an LSU loss (unless it ends the season). Time to move on!

The way I see this could have been a good thing.. Look what happened when we kicked Auburn's arse up and down the field last year.. And we know how there season ended

Coach Miles WAS a great coach. Time has passed him by. He is 60. Honestly how long do you think he will coach. The SEC Network job is around the corner

We see what confidence got us last weekend against a good opponent.

Yes. LSU should Ray Rice the shite out of NMSU. It should make the ULM game look like a nail-biter (and, in case you didn't notice, it was for more than 2 quarters...which was an ill omen for MSU).

Miles aversion to risk-taking (yes, I know he is the "Mad Hatter," but other than a trick play here and there, he's actually a very conservative game caller), means that LSU can (and will) be very vanilla during its whipping of NMSU, creating the same false confidence that LSU had going into the MSU game.

To be clear, you would not find a person happier to see the Tigers take that loss and turn it into an 8-0 run; however, NMSU is not the tonic to prepare this team for the next SEC game.

Yes I am all for that and have moved on especially being a paying season ticket holder and know we will bounce back. However, the reallity is CLM has always been a personable guy and great family man he is very good in recruiting and that has translated to an outstanding record that speaks for itself but he has also been extrememly lucky and to say is a "great" coach is simply not true. This like saying Kieth Richards is "great" guitar player. Great implies one of the best in the world at your repective position and just not true in either case (though I know Stones fans will rebuttle me )!

Both players and fans perform better in positive climates. Mistakes corrected, new challenges embraced, acknowledgement and repetition of the good performances (there have been many) all happen better in a positive environment. Positivity allows for the most constructive criticism and fastest learning. Our very young and talented players will rise to the challenges before them. They will do so faster and more completely in a positive, even hope-filled environment as opposed to one full of fear of making mistakes and being publicly humiliated.

There is no place quite like Tiger Stadium. It's the fans, however, that make it so great.
