Brandon Harris and LSU compared to Auburn and Tre Mason of last year.

Remember how dominate Tre Mason was last year against LSU in the second half, but it was too late for Auburn to win because LSU had built up such a huge lead? Mason didn't get many carries before that game and he was virtually unknown by everyone except Auburn fans. If Auburn would have gave Mason the ball more in their first 3 games, I doubt they would have played close games with Washington State and Miss State. They became a different team after they discovered Mason, just as LSU will be a different team with Harris after last night.
The point is that sometimes it takes 3-4 games before a team realizes they have a special player. When Harris went into the game last night, LSU was down 3 scores late in the fourth quarter, but Harris never flinched. Negatigers love to point out that he was playing against Miss State's second string defense on his first TD drive, but did you see how perfect his passes were? Jennings couldn't make those throws all night.
The only problem here is that Miles may be too stubborn to make Harris the starter. We play Auburn in 2 weeks and Harris needs as many reps as possible and next week vs New Mexico State is perfect for practice.

Remember how Auburn also had some great DLinemen too and a top 5 draft pick on the OL?
yeah, we don't have that.
yeah, we don't have that.

Yeah. Perfect analogy. We're going to 'ship now. shite lines, scheming, and Defense be damned.

If Harris starts, I will go to the game.
Jennings is so boring to watch
Harris has a better release, pocket presence, speed, arm strength and accuracy

The negatigers will kill you for this, but I agree. I really doubt we win out like Auburn did, but Harris will have a big impact. He has so much more chemistry with Malachi and Trey. People are forgetting that Jennings threw about 5-10 horrible passes that killed drives last night
I'm trying to think of another true freshman with his talent getting this much experience at LSU (if Jennings is out)

Does all this matter is he doesn't know the play book?
shite who am I kidding everyone knows the play book. Half back dive off tackle, toss dive off tackle, go route. Inside the five it is fullback dive off tackle.

looked like he knew the playbook last night pretty well

Well, it appears the choice has been taken out of his hands. I wish that would happen at the RB, MLB, and Safety spots without injury of course.

broke, fractured, what?
I remember when Scott broke his collarbone. He was out for the rest of the year which totaled 7 weeks. I hope Jennings isn't in that bad of shape because if Harris gets hurt, we are fricked!

yep, especially witht he running game struggling. IF they both get hurt we wont make it to a bowl. Miles better not call any designed QB run plays with Harris.
