Hotel Ikon was nice. Walk to a lot of things. Not damn thing wrong with downtown Houston anymore. More bars, restaurants than u can stand down there.

My wife loves the Hyatt Lost Pines. Couple of hours outside of town, but if she's into nature it's a good spot.

i don't find homeless people to be very romantic and downtown has LOTS of them.
