I'm reluctantly voting for Claitor. He showed some balls in the last session even when it meant questioning colleagues.

Graves will be a party-first lap dog, Edwards is s crook, and Whitney is a joke (but IWHI).

I'll say this if anyone is on the fence. I worked in the Senate my last year in college and I will tell you I gained a ton of respect for Claitor. He handled things the way you would wish everyone did.

He read every single bill personally and researched and asked questions if he was concerned. He often pointed out even typos all of the time. For compassion some of those guys couldn't even answer easy questions about their own bills. I can guarantee you that he'd be a great representative.

That's just my observations/contribution take for what it is

Yes he can and he's got a lot of friends in Baton Rouge. I'd vote for him over some Tea Party twit any day of the week.

I'm curious to know why you dislike the tea party.

Dude can still work a room.

I suspect that has a lot to do with rooms full of sycophantic fanboys fawning all over that embarrasment. Still.

It's amazing to me.

I can't speak for him but the Tea Party does have a reputation of putting up some pretty squirrelly candidates.

When the Tea Party puts up Marco Rubios and Rand Pauls, great, I'm all for that.

When the Tea Party puts up nitwits like Sharron Angle and Christine O'Donnell, not only is it where their reputation is earned, but it undermines our chances to win.

The shear number of people with your mindset is a large part of why Louisiana remains a shithole in spite of its vast culture and natural resources.

I thought LA went to a more traditional primary system where each party would choose their candidate recently rather than the multiple candidates from each party election for the previous 50 or so years.

She was very nice at dinner last night. Don't think she would be very good in Washington though.

Just a vibe, nothing specific.

Probably leaning towards Claitor right now.

Guy is super smart but just gives off a HORRIBLE first impression. Not really a guy that screams 'teamwork in Washington'

Yes, those horrible Tea Party people who want the government to actually quit running up debt at record levels and lower taxes. The horror! They must be stopped!

You're a twat.

If you met the guy, you would like him personally, even while still disagreeing with him. He's charismatic as hell.

Well, for the mental midgets out there, charisma is certainly enough.
