Geaux Clean on Burbank has driers that will peel the paint off your vehicle. Blew rubber molding off my 2014 Tacoma today. I assume they are "enter at your own risk"?

When I retrieved it, the attendant said customers were complaining about vehicles not drying. I would have been happier with the water spots.

I think most carwashes have signs before you enter saying they are not responsible for damages.

The tacoma paint is the only real flaw. I have already had all four of my fender moldings repainted.

It depends. In your situation, probably not. If the tracks frick up and crash 4 cars together, probably so.

I went through one that said they were responsible for *stock" equipment and anything post fab was on you.

But, I'm not quite sure what that would cover exactly. Seems ambiguous.

Most of them know they won't do enough damage for you to hire an attorney. The signs are probably good enough to get them out of small claims court.

Not worth the paper it's written on.

If they purposely turned the dryers up and refuse to turn them down after notice of damages to customers vehicles sounds pretty suspect to me.

Didn't you notice the volcano light on the car wash board before you drove in? Did you think that was some kind of joke?

They have signs posted saying they aren't responsible for damages....So you are negligent.

I mean you could technically sue them for anything, but that doesn't mean you will win.

I supposed if it turned out they had a bad batch of soap that was causing paint peeling you would have a good chance in a lawsuit, but if a Carwash is peeling your paint bc you have shitty paint isn't the Carwashes fault.

Ha....I am indeed not a lawyer....

What type of Lawyer are you? You seem to be very schooled in CarWash lawsuits.

Then you should know that you can't make a preemptive disclaimer/waiver of liability (in Louisiana). "Enter at your own risk" is not a valid defense.

Exactly. My parents both work in the insurance industry, and Doctors get killed with "informed consent" in operations.
