A verified university twitter links to porn and only about 10 posts in a 8 page thread have anything to do with that. Predictably by page 2 the thread went exclusively to LSU fans whining about what a school they "don't care about" calls themselves.
Ya'll want so bad for this one to be true. Except that Louisville uses "UofL". Don't believe me? Look it up.
Actually we're not breaking any state laws. It's perfectly legal to nickname our athletics "Louisiana". As an LSU fan, you're ok with loopholes in regards to athletics, right?
You'd think ULM fans would be the more vocal party about the Cajuns using UL and Louisiana. Oddly, you hear more complaining from LSU fans.

Sure. Considering the Athletic Dept is self funded and makes so much money on its own it actually gives millions back to the School every year.
I'm much more OK with that than a non flagship school in the UL system getting the State to pour money to prop up their athletics then back revenue bonds for funding thousands of new seats in a stadium expansion that will go almost always unused and unsold..

I'm not ignoring anything. You deserve to be on the good lists, but you're not on the bad lists because of bitter ULL fans. Just try to get your best assholes to stop winning friends and influencing people everywhere they go and maybe that will change.

I'd love to hear about this "loophole" angle you are clearly upset with. Unless it has to do with the stadium.

Stadium expansion was privately funded (I think).

Here's one completely idiotic article that I had to go all the way back to last week to find LINK
