Does this justify looting?
A government which kills its citizens with little provocation and with what is viewed as no recourse or redress for the citizens is pretty close to what justifies a violent, lawless response. I'm not at that point, but I could see how some would be.

Of course not but maybe if this was handled better from the start that looting wouldn't have happened. there's a similar case right now in Milwaukee and there has been no looting.

Sounds like the DOJ is in Ferguson coaching "witnesses."

There's a lot of pics of the guy laying in the street. On the ones I've seen, there were no brain matter out there...

It doesn't fit with the released evidence, but then again I haven't keep up with it since the nightly in game threads on the riots.
The interesting twist for the trial (which appears likely at this point), is that the contractors are from Jefferson County which is viewed as the white trash section of the metro St. Louis area. That will make for interesting optics, having blue collar white guys corroborate some of the details that the initial black witnesses stated

Everybody is lying but the cops??? Those notoriously honest govt apparatchiks with guns???

The construction workers said they don't live in Ferguson and don't know the Brown family, but their account squares with accounts from several other witnesses of the unarmed African-American teen's shooting death on August 9.
...which doesn't square with forensic evidence.

yeah i mean he was shot towards the top of the head in a downward trajectory, right? i don't even think there was an exit wound
if there was, the only one that could theoretically have brains come out would be through the bottom of your mouth, and that's would require a huge slug from a lot further distance to open up that hole
i mean put a finger at the top of your head and look at where it points. imagine how brains could come out

Sure. But we don't really know what is a lie and what is misperception.

I'm not sure anyone's "side," the police or the Brown backers, have a monopoly on evidence that squares with their testimony.

These guys said he was shot at while his back was turned. So that, in and of itself isn't necessarily a lie.
The bit about the cop standing over him and shooting down into him would be in my classification as an apparent lie.

This times 1000. And why is the autopsy necessarily infallible as well. Just because they said he didn't take the fatal shot with his back turned doesn't mean that he never had his back turned during the shooting process or his arms up.

Nothing justifies tearing up, burning, looting and total disregard for other peoples persons and property is justified like this.
If they want to go take over the local court house then let them do it. But I think they would not due to the consequences of their actions. Why do you think that people should violate other people in the name of a violent, lawless response?

...and a Justice Department whose only concern is convicting the police officer and not finding facts.

If this video and these witnesses only now came forward, perhaps you could say that was because of the Justice Department's thorough investigation and presence?
And to the people who keep asking why they waited to come forward its pretty irrelevant because the video clearly makes them credible witnesses who were at the scene of the crime.
Maybe they were scared... maybe they had an outstanding warrant... maybe they have a fear of police retribution...
