Or is it just another day for you now?

I don't go to my nearest red box to get a documentary on a day that I remember as if it was yesterday

I watch some, but I wish some of the earlier footage from the first few moments that has been scrubbed would still air.

Saw it live at work... Watch one or two every year when my wife isn't home, she can't watch them. when it happened i called her woke her up and she planted in front of CNN all day and called in to work... she wont watch them, she will leave the room if i have one on.

ETA: It will never be just another day just like June 6th is not just another day.

I never did. That day is still very fresh in my memory. I don't want to relive it.

I don't need to. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I remember what I was wearing that day. I was eating breakfast before class my senior year of college when the coverage started. My dad was up there for work and I was hysterical. I never want to relive those feelings again.

I still remember watching it live. However, I'll likely watch one of them because my son (14) needs an appreciation for these events. It also provides perspective.

I still have the ones from the History Channel last year on my dvr. I am a documentary junkie and watch one every night as I fall asleep. The only problem is that I know the first 20 minutes of them all by heart but don't know anything past that.

The last time I watched one was 2011 I think. 102 minutes that changed America. It was the last one I'll ever need to see, and when the time comes, I'll show my kids the same thing so they have a full context of what happened that day.

I cant watch those type things. I was taking about it with my kids earlier this evening and almost started crying. I hate 9/11.

Every time I am in a tall building (which isn't often), I think about those people having to jump.

I also think, out of all those people that died, there were at least a few who were in the buildings for the first time in their lives that day, visiting, really excited to see a famous landmark that they had seen in every movie set in New York for the prior 25 years, and then that.

I watch them every year, and for about a week that follows.

I was not in front of a tv on that day, so my memories are not as much about the actual events that day, but rather our thoughts and fears at the time. I remember the chaos the next 48 hrs and the search for more attackers. Rumors of people being caught on grounded planes in Texas and such.

I think about them too and the people on the planes. Their families, husbands, kids, wives, parents :-( . It's overwhelming.

There's enough propaganda on TV over any 24-hour cycle, why would I need to add this to it every year?
