EXACTLY. at 150ft a sec (more or less) at 5-6 seconds away, thats nearly 1000 feet away. not sure how long it takes to slow down & turn, but its probably 5-10 seconds.

at 10 seconds, the driver of the car wouldn't even see the guy 2000 feet away.

at 5 seconds he probably wouldn't see more than a black dot.

at 2 seconds, the fricker was still nearly 300 feet away.

no way the driver was expecting a fricking bulletrain coming at him when he turned. he's expecting cars going maybe 40mph or whatever teh limit is.



Let's just go ahead and end this thread on these thoughts.

It is sad the motorcyclist died, and it is sad the driver has to live with the guilt of it.
