These Hyundais are really affordable on Carmax, even for 2013 and 2014 model Sonatas and Genesis. The Genesis look kinda cool. It's strange hearing all this Hyundai love, I thought these vehicles were just pure throwaway cars.

It's currently wrecked on the back end which I'm sure will hurt her trade in

I would take a Hyundai over a Nissan. Nissan's have a lot of issues.

Apparently you don't know anything about cars, hyundai has won quite a few awards and are generally considered great cars

I'm on my second Hyundai....I put over 275K miles on an Elantra (that I gave away and is still running). My Santa Fe is going strong at nearly 110 K miles....

I like those too. $30k with every available option.
the back back seat is smaller than most other 3 row SUVs but other than that it is a fine car,.
I like the fact that you get one and you know you don't have to worry about any repair bills for 100,000 miles or ten years.

Some family members had a Sonata that was awesome....but my parents had a Genesis that was the worst car they've ever owned. My brother had an Elantra in college that was cheap and ratty as the worst car you've seen, but it only left him stranded once in the 100,000 or so miles he put on it. Not bad for a $13,000 car.
So I think they've improved, but I would not trust them with complicated products.

If your daughter is still running in to shite, I probably wouldnt buy her a new car

Same here. I'd get a Sonata over an Altima for sure.

Like I said, I drive a Sonata and love it... but as far as the SUVs go, the Mazda CX-5 is superior to the Santa Fe.

If you finance and are dead set on buying extended warranty, check out PenFed for financing and utilize their extended warranty partnership,

Don't mention trade in until you agree upon price of new vehicle in writing.
Handle each transaction separately.
