Yeah, in 2011 we really dominated western kentucky, arkansas, and georgia from the start.

The 2011 team dominated everyone but Bama. I didn't feel like checking box scores for that season. Fell free to try to debunk the rest of the games though.

I don't need to check box scores, I was at the games. We didn't dominate every team from the start.

I think the OP's point is that a lot of those games devolved into an unwatchable mess at times. IE, ugly 3 & outs, penalties, turnovers, late scores, an apparent attitude of "let's get it over with". Last night that really didn't take place. The team seemed to be having a blast. It was clean & it was fun to watch.

Typical rant douche bag. We dominated all the actual games I listed, but because you were there you know better. Guess what, I was at almost all of them as well.

Well that's not what he said. And that kind of stuff didn't happen in the games I listed either. Like I said, the narrative that we supposedly don't put away cupcakes needs to die. It's just not true.

Well, in a thread about cupcakes you assholes are complaining about top 10 teams. Yea, I'm the dumb one.

Overall, I agree. I think the OP is saying that LSU hasn't beaten a team like they did last night in a while where from start to finish it was total domination. The first play was a TD.

These kids are hungry and fun to watch.

I'm probably a top 10 Les defender on this board, but there have been quite a few ugly starts to cupcake games, other teams have them as well...it's not a big deal to admit it

True, Broski, but this game was already out of hand after the 1st Quarter, and really, you could say after our 1st offensive play. Been quite some time we could start putting in subs in the 2nd quarter without issue.

You're right, we didn't dominate any of the games I listed. Whatever was I thinking making that list..

Why are conveniently ignoring the phrase "from the start"? We didn't dominate every team from the start.

Exactly. I'm as big a Miles defender as anyone, but there has always been a trend (I think by the players) to not take these games very seriously, and simply let the talent gap do the work. I don't attribute the good or bad on this issue to Miles, I think this year's team just has a combination of great leadership and very very hungry freshman. I'm stoked.

On that list we most certainly did. Feel free to go back and check all those games. They were all over at halftime.

the most hilarious moment of the night was Brent commenting on how the missed extra point could come back to haunt LSU....
