Metairie can fulfill every need that Covington can. They both provide safe, suburban living. One is just closer to New Orleans.

Metairie life- dependent on water pumps and levees

Except the need to be in a peaceful, beautiful, oak tree laden environment. When I speak of Covington, I speak of Old Covington- not the mess that has sprouted up around the Interstates and Hwy 190- you're correct...that may as well be Metairie.
