Does these suspensions somewhat damper your enthusiasm this year ?

I have to admit, it does mine.Same way the honey badger crap somewhat ruined it 2 years ago. For me its getting harder and harder to drive 3 hrs one way, spend tons of money to root for selfish druggies that only think of themselves instead of the team.Oh well, had to get it out of my system.

No, but it's discouraging to see it on the ticker of every sports channel.

Just for clarification, is RR allegedly suspended for grades or something else?
Is Malachi only out due to hamstring?
Was out last night in Houston and couldn't follow closely when it broke.

It must of been nice being able to go to college and make life mistakes and learn lessons through growing up. Too bad college athletes don't have this privilege and on top of that face scrutiny from adults who don't care about the players, only their performances.

Well this should be interesting and probably won't end well, but a small part of me agrees with you.
However, what about the 90% of the kids who do the right thing and work their asses off to represent LSU? Don't cast them aside due to the transgressions of a few. Focus on the kids who are doing the right thing. It will make you happier.

No, it just reminds me that our head coach is willing to hold all his players accountable no matter where they stand on the field.

Pretty good info on Chi being out b/c of injury.

I guess this will fan the flames, but that one smells fishy to me as well. To those in the know, is it routine for injured (but not gravely so) players to not travel with the team?

I get what you're saying, but you have a large group of 18-23 year old young men, and they won't all be perfectly behaved. I support the Tigers no matter who's out on the field.

I swear I remember this situation and injured players not traveling.

Don't get me wrong, i still love my tigers, but shite, i was really looking forward to RR this year, really think he could be one of the top corners in the nation, Bain could be valuable in the rotation, hell Porter was on the preseason list for top centers in the nation. This is one helluva time for this crap to go down. Opener against a top 15 team.

Dupre is understandable to me. Porter is the one that smells fishy to me.

Ironically, it'll fan the flames of "LSU runs a loose program," when in actual fact, the reason these guys keep getting caught is because LSU has stricter testing procedures than most schools.
