The Arm-rest rule.....
The person in the middle seat gets both arm rests. No questions. If one person is too fat to allow his armrest down, he must suck it up and lean out.
The window person can lean to the window, the aisle person can lean out into the aisle. The guy in the bitch seat, gets the use of both arm rests. always.

Yep. I never get the middle, and this is how I approach it. That poor SOB has enough problems.
