In all honesty go work offshore. You can make lots of money in a short time so if you wanted to get back into college in a few years you would have a lot of money saved. Friend of mine works 4 on 2 off and brings home about 6k every month. If i was in your spot, i'd do it in a heartbeat. Especially since you have no career direction as is. use the down time on the boats to write your screen play or figure yourself out

Time to find one of those shovel jobs.

Seriously. Get a labor job, toughen up, make yourself some money, put yourself through trade school or community college.

Plenty of people do it. You just have to put out and do it.
