Terrible analogy...
First off, if you are good enough you will hit the field. Period. It doesnt matter who else we recruit or have on the roster... if you are better you will play. And Im pretty sure Brosette was aware that we didnt take a RB in 2013 because of LF, and he was our top recruit for 2014 class... why does it all of a sudden concern him? It didnt concern Williams and it hasnt been an issue for Guice. LF is a great teammate and person as well... guys want to play with him.
Secondly... the people that want to run the company have to start out working at the company and then climb their way up the ladder... same can be said for sports.

Doesn't matter you have to maintain . The average running back stays 2 years . Sell the education not getting to the league , and playing for the lsu program .

Wrong everyone doesn't start at the bottom .my point is that maybe this kid just want to go and play . It maybe stacked against him at lsu and nothing wrong with the fact that if true. That doesn't mean that he's scared of competition .

true, but it's not stacked against him. If it is when he gets here he redshirts and plays as the feature back the next year.
Regardsless, it's his decision for his future. I would completely understand him if he went somewhere else. I don't want him to but I'm not going to say something silly like he is afraid of competition.

If i were a RB i would be afraid that over use would hurt my NFL career. Look at Ingram and Richardson. Road hard in college might have been fun for them at the time but it has hurt their NFL career IMO.
RB's sharing the load at LSU not only provides fresh legs but longevity to their career as well.

Why are people still arguing about how to pronounce this kids name.

Because people are stupid. I didn't think Guice was that uncommon of a last name that almost nobody knew how to pronounce it.

Do you believe high school seniors would almost think like this?

Your grammar is really bad.

My God what moronic statements. Kids want to play, period. All day every day. If there is a log jam if great tv's at LSU, why wouldn't the next one look at other places?
TV's??? At any rate there is always a logjam of great running backs at LSU yet players come here. Some want to play in a high profile atmosphere and have the best possible coaching. Kids have different motives so don't try to put them all in the same mold from your little mind.
quote:
Man you guys are just plain moronic thinking a kid would come here thinking he woukdnt play much but his legs would be "fresh" for the pros.
You would know.

Really, how dumb can a human think just to be a homer?

ummmm....sorry but if he does not go to school at LSU because of the competition then it does mean he is scared of competition. sorry that is the definition.

I could really see him starting next year at Texas considering both Gray and Brown will be leaving for the NFL. They already got rid of Bergeron and Overstreet, so he really only has to beat out Catalon from last year's class, and Houston/Stevenson from this year's class.
All three of those guys are 5'11 or shorter, and 190 or smaller. Brossette would probably make his best decision if he goes there considering he would play immediately and is almost a virtual lock to start.

Take it easy psycho.... Just saying your analogy wasn't that good.

Do we even redshirt runningbacks?? Williams will get his share of carries and a chance to show what he can do this year. If Brossette comes to LSU then he will get his chance too.

Said Fournette Williams and Guice (Pronounced Jice) has him a little uneasy.
Although i dont blame him for being uneasy...but if he thinks of the bigger picture i think he will benefit at LSU and not be ran down...but is he not confident in his talents to be so uneasy about this
