Anyone have a rec for me? Also, do you prefer the granules or liquid?
TIA

I used the kind that you screw onto a hose. Did not do any research, but just grabbed something at Lowes. Never had another flea.

Be cautious if there are cats around. They are very sensitive to it.

I do have an outdoor cat so probably need to try something else. Might just go with Ortho Bug B Gone, seems to have good reviews.

Diatomaceous Earth Pest Control & Filtration
Diatomaceous earth can be used as a safe, effective organic pesticide in small- or large-scale farming operations. It is highly effective at controlling the same classes of pests that traditional chemical pesticides control, it just does so with far less environmental damage.
It can also be used around the home as a means of spot-specific pest control.
Diatomaceous earth also makes a great filtration medium and is often used in items like pool filters.
Diatomaceous Earth For Pets
This substance is also used as a means to treat parasites in many animals due to its natural insecticide properties.
When rubbed into an animal’s fur, diatomaceous earth acts as a natural flea and tick repellant.
Detoxing With Diatomaceous Earth
Diatomaceous earth is an excellent substance to use as a means of cleansing or detoxifying the body. It aids in the removal of heavy metals and other toxins in the body.
It also makes an excellent nutritional supplement in the same way as a traditional vitamin supplement, providing a fast and easy way to ensure that we are getting the proper amounts of silica in our diets.
When mixed with water and turned into a paste-like substance, diatomaceous earth makes and incredibly effective cleansing and toning face mask.
Detoxing With Diatomaceous Earth Health Benefits
The use of diatomaceous earth as a health supplement has been shown to lower overall levels of cholesterol, but more specifically the levels of so-called bad cholesterol.
There are studies linking the use of diatomaceous earth with a reduction of age spots on the skin, as well as an increased firming and toning of the skin.
Diatomaceous earth can be mixed with water in much the same way as one would for the above-described face mask and be used as a non-toxic, completely natural toothpaste due to its slightly abrasive nature.
As you can see, this ancient substance of broken down sea creatures provides us with the ability to safely control pests in crops, parasites in animals and improve the overall health and wellness of both animals and humans. This fairly unknown substance is a powerful compound that has the ability to provide many benefits to human and with each passing year, we seem to find more and more uses for this almost magical substance, furthering its utility and benefit of Diatomaceous Earth.

They have the same active ingredient. Bifenthrin which is in the class of chemicals known as pyrethroids. Most are toxic to cats.
I have never had success with diatomaceous earth. I watched bugs crawl through it on to my vegetables and continue to eat away at them. Same for ants

If you have squirrels, you are fighting a losing battle. You can spray your yard, but that doesn't prevent squirrels from bringing in new fleas from 3 yards over the next day.

I did go to pest stop, they sold me some shite for outdoor and a spray for indoor and fleas have never been worse. Not happy with pest stop atm.

For fleas you have to stop their cycle. I used Suspend SC (to kill the adult flees) and IG Regulator (to kill the eggs). After you spray, you have to go back in about two (2) weeks and spray again to ensure proper results. I live by water and it is the only thing that has ever worked for me. You can use it inside and out and it was not an issue with the pets. Get it from Amazon or Ebay because it is much cheaper.

I use Permethrin SFR ($25.55/32oz) and Precor IGR (9.95/oz) (insect growth regulator). Purchased both off Amazon. Have wiped out fleas in my yard nearly 100%.
Also, you need to get rid of all the possums and racoons coming into your yard at night. Stray cats too.
