If the hinge pin is loose or a sloppy fit Or you can take it out easy when u break down the barrel from the frame It may need to be changed On mine I could push it out with my finger with no force at all n the barrel n frame was a sloppy fit So I researched this problem n found the bellm website with tons of information on the T/C encore Their website is loaded with good information on all kinds of encore issues They recommended changing hinge pin so I ordered one n instantly I saw a difference in my grouping Then I started trying different ammo and I found the nosler trophy grade ammo shot the best in my gun Hopefully this helps some Good luck n good hunting

go to www.Bellmtcs.com and order a new hinge pin. it will make a difference. i had to change mine because it was a very sloppy fit. it made a big difference in my grouping. $15.00 for the hinge pin. cheap enough to give it a try, also check all of the scope mount screws. make sure they are tight. good luck

I shoot nosler 200gr accubond trophy grade ammo i love then very accurate ammo. i shoot 1.75" high at 100yds and im dead on at 200yds. does some serious damage. they are a bit pricey but well worth it
