Week 35 of 52 of 2014 Golf Thread

Anyone hit Cobra Amp Cell irons? A few discount sites have them for $260 for the set...would like to hit them first, but that's a really good deal for irons.

Also, can anyone recommend a pro for lessons in BR? Looking for someone who can take my current swing and tune it rather than try to change everything.

Playing the Members course at Golf Club of Houston this weekend.

Drove the ball better than I have in years last weekend.

Played Saturday and got in a pretty heated confrontation with an old fossil on #1. Old fossil took exception to me slapping back another old fossil's bogey putt. If it wasn't in the leather, it was real fricking close. Anyway it pissed me off. I played the next 6 holes +8. Between being hungover as hell and mad at the geezer I was a mess. Finally got it calmed down and proceeded to shoot even on the back and won all the money. Thanks largely in part to the dude I got paired with who shot a 68. Not so much my 80. Still got paid doe.

What is up hackers......been busting my arse at work....my boss is bad sick and will be out for an extended period. That means no weekday golf for me until he gets back...dang it.

But I have been surfing the hell out of the web looking for some new golf accessories during breaks.

I dare his secretary to leave early tomorrow....cause I'll be following her arse out the door to a money game at 4:30.

Pouring rain in NELA - was scheduled to be in GS - looks like it is going to pour there as well.
