There will most likely be several snipe bids in the last 30 seconds or so-probably from several bidders who haven't even bid yet. It could well reach or go over $3,000,000

The auction just crashed from the traffic but it closed out at a little over $3.2 Million last I saw.

similar one sold for a little over a million in 2005 or 06. so youd probably have to give it 10 years to make something off it.


eta: although i found one that sold in 2011 for 2.16 mill.

Ebay takes 10%? That's put it back under $3 mil...and are they paying with paypal?

There was a special deal worked out with eBay for this auction. I doubt they took 10% on it and payment will obviously be with bank transfers like any other transaction that large.

They don't take 10% on that high of a bid. You do have to pay with PayPal though-which EBay owns.
