You're never too old to meet new people and make new friends IMO.

It picks back up in your 30's especially if you get involved in your community, raise kids or get involved in church.

Loosing touch with those early lifetime friends SUCKS

Never. I've made a few very close friends in the past couple of years.

Probably 21, I'm 24 now, the people I hang out with now are just "friends". We hang out and do stuff, but I wouldn't rely on them like I could my high school and college friends

I've moved around a lot my entire life, so I learned at a young age how to adapt and meet new people. Most I would just consider acquaintances, but there are 2 that I've met post-college, that I would consider closer than my brothers. I met these guys when I was 22 and 25. One is a current roommate and the other I talk to on a regular basis. I would take a bullet for both and vice versa. We've had these discussions.

I haven't stopped. Have some really good friends from all phases of college and the first few places we lived.

I'm over 60. My truest friends are still the ones I had 40+/- years ago. It's really amazing to me that this is so.
