Sorry Tigers, but I think you guys are going to start 0-1.

Hello Tigers. With just a little over a week until our match up in Houston, I felt the need to discuss a few things with you guys. After reading your board here for the past week, I've come to the conclusion that you're one cocky group of fans. So, just a little information for you!
We're not Washington.
We're not TCU.
We're not Oregon.
We're not North Carolina.
We're not West Virginia.
We've lost only two games in the last 4 years by double digits. Think about that for a second.
We're not one of these teams that you can abuse on the lines of scrimmage like you may have done with some of these other teams in the past. We're big and physical on the lines, and we will match up with you well in that regard.
On offense, we sport one of the best offensive lines in college football, and we have what may be the best running back duo in college football with Gordon and Clement. Your defense wasn't stellar last year, and your defensive line appears to be thin and inexperienced. This is a recipe for disaster when going up against a line like ours and against a running back like Melvin Gordon. You guys struggled to stop teams like Mississippi last year from running the ball, and I doubt you'll do much to slow down our running game. I expect us to gain 200+ yards against you on the ground.
On the flip side, yes, I'm aware you guys also have one of the best offensive lines in college football. And yes, I'm aware that we lost our front seven. Here's the thing, though - the guys that were playing behind our starters in the front 7 all return, and most of them have significant game experience. It's not as if we're placing seven 18 year old freshman out there. These are guys that have played before. We also return Landisch and Herring, so we'll have leadership back there as well.
And almost everyone in our secondary returns. Combine that with the fact that you have freshman QBs and freshman WRs with little to no experience, and that will make you guys one dimensional on offense. We'll load up the box and make you throw against our seasoned secondary. You might think you'll do the same against us, but again, we have QBs with experience. Here is some footage of Stave if you're unfamiliar with him - LINK
Finally, a prediction or two.
- Your running back Leo Fournette will end up being an average back. I've seen this story far too many times. 5 star kid highly recruited out of high school, treated like a celebrity when he enters college, and he ends up amounting to nothing. I think the guy will be a good back, but won't be the unstoppable machine everyone thinks he will be. I believe you guys recruited another running back as well, so here's my prediction - that guy ends up being the better back when it's all said and done.
Score prediction
I think the final score makes the game look worse than it was for you guys. I think it will be close late, but your QBs will make errors that will give us the double digit lead late. With Gordon and our offensive line, we will be able to grind out the clock and wear down your thin defensive line. Your freshman will put up a fight, but this is college ball, and your 18 year old studs on offensive aren't going to come in and take over in their first game.
Wisconsin - 30
LSU - 16
This is a big game for us and a big game for the Big Ten, and I think we take advantage. I hate the SEC with a passion, but if there is one team I like to see win, it's LSU. But I think we've got your number next week.
Here's to a fun and exciting game.

I agree
You are way slower than the Nike jersey team.

Now that I've taken a second, I think that LSU hasn't lost but 2 games by double digits in the last 4 years as well, and both of those came against Alabama, you may have heard of them.

You seem to be forgetting about our running back duo of Magee and Hilliard. But you will likely remember them after the game.
