You lost to TCU and Oregon in your most recent match-ups.

You lost 6 games in 2012 alone...you've lost 10 in the last two years.

You'd have to go back to 2009 for the equivalent number for LSU...against 5 times as many top 25 opponents.

But it's adorable that you think you can win by two TD's. Granted Wisconsin has had success in bowls against some SEC foes...but you will soon discover LSU is far superior in the trenches than Auburn.

You remember that Tennessee team that beat you in 2008? We beat them with our 2nd string QB and only a week to prepare. Oh and 3 defensive starter knicked and missed the game too.

You remember that TCU team that beat you in the BCS bowl...we beat them handily a few months later.

You remember that Oregon team that beat you in the BCS bowl? Yeah we beat them too...by making them quit by the 3rd quarter.

We haven't lost west of Baton Rouge since the 2003 Cotton Bowl against Texas. We don't plan on losing on Saturday either. Your game will be over soon.

A victory for you will include leaving the game healthy on the line.

You guys predicting a blowout against Wisky might be in for a rude awakening. The last time a Wisconsin team lost by more than 10 points was October of 2009 to the eventual Rose Bowl Champions. They're in every game they play because they're big, physical and can eat up clock. Yes, they've lost 10 games in the last 2 years, but their average margin of defeat was 5.1 points in those losses.

LSU dominated that game in the mud, until a few rookie QB mistakes left them in it. They were never in control. Not expecting a blowout, but won't be surprised if we win by 10 to 14.

You have the correct score except you have it backwards. Wisconsin's "famous" rushing attack averaged 130 yards per game when playing ranked teams. You'll see a real rushing attack come Aug. 30th and it will be lead by LF. You're not washington, tcu, oregon, nc, or wv. You're Big Ten, the most over-rated conference of the big 5.
p.s. Don't forget to post on tigerdroppings after the game. :)

I would not be shocked if Wisconsin beats LSU, but I would be very, very surprised.

This is not some "for-the-most-part-meaningless" bowl game where you never know what team will be excited to be in and what players have already checked out mentally to the NFL and unexpected upsets happen regularly......This is the season opener: both teams have had 8 months to prepare, and the better team will win, and LSU is the better team. Not to mention the turf and the partisan LSU crowd also playing into LSU's favor on top of simply being better and more talented than Wisconsin to begin with. It also hurts the Badgers that there is Zero chance LSU is taking them lightly.

Wisconsin has a fine, fine program, and they certainly deserve our respect and attention; Unfortunately for the Badgers, they will get both because it's the season opener and we will be ready, and LSU will win.

This game may be close into the 3rd quarter or so, but a 4th quarter score or two pulls LSU away to a 27-13-ish win.

There's a reason LSU hasn't lost a regular season non-conference game in over a decade...it's because we're better than the opponents, and the couple teams that did stand a chance (similar to Wisconsin) really didn't have a chance given the timing and importance of the game, typically to open the season....in other words, LSU was ready, excited, and did exactly what they were supposed to do against a lesser team... Win.

LSU will beat Wisconsin.

Always liked Wisc. Madison would be a nice game atmosphere IMO. Good luck to you but we are stacked.. Wish it was in Tiger Stadium, everyone has a great time there.

Just for reference, last year's Iowa team hadn't seen your speed and they seemed to handle it pretty well. Oh yeah, and Wisconsin beat that same Iowa team 28-9 @ Iowa last year.

First, lets keep in mind that Iowa faced an LSU team that started it's true freshman back up for the first time that year. This year;s QB will have had a whole lot more prep.

Second, this game is a great example of why we are all very happy about the direction of our defense. The only TDs that Iowa scored in that entire game was from drives that started inside our own 5 yf line!

Yes! The Tiger D totally shut Iowa down except for two drives that started at or within our own 4 yd line.

We LSU fans know what the defense should look like and we are all telling you right now that Wiscy will get abused most of the game. They will have a few good drives if they are lucky.

Finally, if you watch that Iowa game, it was obvious that Les Miles was not worried about Iowa's offense at all... ever. The Tigers didn't need to pass the ball in the second half to stay ahead. Even after Iowa got lucky and started two drives at the goal line, Les Miles just ran the ball the length of the field and scored at will. This was because LSU will always wear down teams like Iowa and Wiscy in the 4th qtr and Les Miles has made an awesome winning record because of this even when LSU fields the worst passing offenses in the nation.

LSU is no longer passing game deficient though. Wiscy will play tough in the first half and get handled in the 2nd.

BTW, What prompted a Miami fan to come out here> Still hating over your bowl arse whuppin or was it the arse whuppin off of the field that still rubs you wrong?
