With a windows recovery disk to access command prompt, if it lets you, you can try "wmic baseboard get serialnumber"
Doesn't always work. For my MSI motherboard, using that command just returns "SerialNumber To be filled by O.E.M." I have never seen a retail motherboard without a serial number sticker on it unless it was removed by the owner. I've installed multiple m5A99x Evos in various customer computers.
If RMA isn't going to be possible, you might as well buy another AM3+ board from Amazon, and return it if that turns out not to be the problem.
Have you been able to test a different GPU?

I got an old radeon 9250 somewhere.
It's the only thing I have left to check. I just dont get how a bad Graphics card could run all day long without crashing but as soon as I try to install windows it fails
