We are about to enter a time Warp; (And Here We Go)

We will have the longest, slowest week prior to the game on Saturday, followed by the fastest 3 months of the yearr. It happens every year: Wait, wait, wait, wait for the first game and then, swoosh...they're all over. So savor every moment this year and don't forget to record so you'll have something watch in April.

I know exactly what you mean, but this year might be different for me and I might not feel the time effects.
See, for as long as I can remember, I have never went an entire football season without attending at least one football game in Tiger Stadium. Even when I moved to Kansas, I drove back to Baton Rouge to attend games. I now have a job at LSU which will require me to be on campus, at my job, during every home game. It's really depressing for me to think about. The only redeeming factor is that I should be able to watch every game on my computer at work, and I should be free to attend away games if I can get tickets and can travel there.

Can't wait until Sept 20th... Will be my first time back on campus in a long time... Should be brining my GF to her first LSU game that day. Should be a night game and first SEC game of the season with the best Moo State team since thunder and lightening back in like 99'.... Can't way to see the new additions to the stadium in person. Last time I was in it was for the bayou super fest and it wasn't close to done.... I'm pumped

The time doesn't "actually" warp though. That time of year seems to pass by quicker because of all the anticipation which leads up to the football season and the amount of excitement that is experienced throughout the season. But the time itself never actually deviates off its universal cycle. Think if it kind of like a psychological illusion. Hope this helps!

This is the best time of football season... full of optimism and no stinging disappointment.

Thankfully we're closing in on our first game. This has been a long arse 7 months.

Great, then this time warp will take me (hopefully) to within 5 weeks of baseball season. Thank'ye Jeezus!!!

I hate how it takes forever to get from the time baseball ends to the time football starts but then the season goes in a flash.

When the tigers are 3-9, you'll be glad the season is over
