Funny, the WWE keeps doing that now.

That and they aren't giving anyone who isn't a heavyweight a chance. The thing that crippled WCW they are repeating.

Then you have the crap they put out at this last pay per view. It's bad whenever the Diva's Championship match and Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bryan match was more interesting than the main event.

People complain saying John Cena wins with the 5 moves of doom and so on. Yet they want to cheer for Roman Reigns who barely has 5 moves in his entire arsenal. Here's a Roman Reigns match:

Clothesline, clothesline, open palm right hand to jaw, headbutt, 5 punches in the corner, Samoan drop, drop kick with opponent laying on bottom rope, Superman punch, spear finish (which is a joke as a finisher with his lack of moves).

They keep pushing these heavyweight guys over the smaller guys but at least guys like Daniel Bryan and Jericho are interesting with their move sets. John Cena gets hammered by fans but he has more than 5 moves in his entire set. Hell we get a hurricanrana from time to time from him and some top rope action. Golddust is 45 years old and still does moonsaults yet most of the new talent can't muster up 10 moves, it's a joke.

Some reason I just thought of the story with Big Boss Man and Big Show and Big Show dad funeral.

Boss man showed up at the funeral and drug the coffin away and Big Show jumped on top of it.

Hahahaha

He is not a headliner, and unless he learns how to carry a promo, he's going to remain a mid card draw. The other two shield members are tearing it up right now.

I think fans have just gotten tired of Cena. I like him, but his character can't evolve or change. He'll never turn heel, because of his good guy reputation outside the ring. He's sorta painted himself into a corner. The WWE is stale right now, it's very predictable, and that's bad since it's scripted. They are struggling getting people to buy into the WWE network. There is no content worth paying for besides the PPV's. Now they have Lesnar as the Champ. It's a bad move, the guy isn't even going to be on the weekly card. He's going to show up at ppv's and a few raw's, and it's going to be the same ole Paul Heyman crap for 15 minutes. Lesnar has about as much Mic presence as Chris Benoit currently does. They are in a bind as far as a big draw.

You are correct, he is not. However, he has the Vince McMahon build. He's big and muscular. He will get the push over everyone else because of that and his heritage (cousin or something to The Rock)

I agree with all of this. I had not seen a guy as over as Daniel Bryan in a long time. That injury really screwed things up. He was set to have a long run with the strap.

Correct me if i'm wrong. Cena has won the title 15 times. Flair won it 17 times.

To me that doesnt sit well with me.

The sabotaging was choreographed. I would have said it was faked, but someone would have responded that I couldn't refer to it as fake, because the refusal to sell to higher bidders wasn't fake--it really happened. It was scripted, but how dare I call it fake.

Flair won it in a time where the competition was cut throat. I look at it from that standpoint and anyone with sense knows dues were harder to pay before wrestling was the packaged product it's become since Vince went public with the company.

To me, it's a damn shame Mr Perfect only held it once. (In wcw) he could have been a great wwf heel champion, and had awesome ring ability.

Why does it matter. It's not like they actually win it. It's given to them. If the outcome wasn't predetermined, then I would agree with you, but it's not like he's actually beating the guys to win the belt.

while it is scripted... there was a time when to hold the title you had to be an highly loved hero, or a despicable villain.

Everyone else was just filler

No. Wcw did themselves in by having terrible bookers and writers. For instance David arquette was champion. They did spent a lot of time hyping wrestlers like glacier, the wall, the demon, and the maestro only having them stuck at lower mid card status. Wcw also shot themselves in the foot with the hogan warrior fued, the Halloween havoc match was terrible. Oh also uncensored 1995 hogan and savage beat nine guys. also the cruiser weights had awesome talent but it was too little too late when wcw started to use them like they should have.
