I like to rewatch old games to get me ready for the season. Thoughts:

1) I did not remember that Miles called a fake punt from his own endzone, after going 3 and out, ON HIS FIRST DRIVE AS COACH. That is so perfect.

2) God, could Jamarcus sling the rock. Once in a lifetime arm.

3) I forgot that we scored twice on special teams. Miles' first game at LSU might be in the top 3 most Milesy games ever.

4) I dont think Early caught that ball (eeeek)

5) Im so freaking ready for football. See yall in Houston.

If I remember correctly, Miles didn't call the fake punt specifically. The punter had the option if he recognized coverage. Didn't he throw to the gunner who was uncovered?

Why are so many so football ignorant? The coaches don't call a fake punt from their own 10 yard line. There are automatic checks built in and the kids on the field saw it was open. If I remember correctly, the player covering the gunner came down to rush the punt, so nobody was anywhere around the LSU gunner. All the punter had to do was flip the ball 5 yards downfield to an uncovered gunner/receiver.

It was not called from the sidelines.

But I do agree with the point about it being a very "Milesy game".
