And if anyone didn't know, red zone channel is live tonight

Didn't know... But I do now love the redzone.

But it's not the same without Scott Hanson... He makes it what it is.

I had Ellington last year as well... And would love to get him this year as well as a RB2. He's not a goal line back, I agree with that. But, Arians has repeatedly said that he's their bell cow and will be getting 20+ touches a game. And they have installed packages to utilize his skills in space.

Last season he had 157 touched in 15 games... A little more than 10 touches per game. With his skill set and ability, if he can get 18-20+ touched a game, he can be a very productive fantasy player without being the goal line back... And I'm sure he will get a handful of TDs as the goal line guy anyways. Just might not be the goal line guy every time. But due to his big play and receiving ability, he can still be a very good fantasy player. Especially in PPR. Non PPR, it's a diff story.

Ellington removed on goaline with 1st team offense on opening series. Failed to convert from about the 4. They inserted Dwyer and he punched it in. Something to keep an eye on

Amazing how GL can change a player so much, both on the field value and fantasy.

Bernard is a similar player, but he will get GL work this year and has proven he can punch it in from inside the 5

Gio is a decent inside runner for his size. He's a little more sturdy

He also said the complete opposite late into last season.

Yea he is. Gio is more like Ray Rice IMO. But the Bengals just dont use him like Baltimore used Ray Ray, and its understandable.

The Gio + Hill combo is going to be a really good duo. They complement each other really well, but at the same time both guys are complete backs and can do it all. Hill is a between the tackles runner but has the vision and ability to run the ball on the outside and be a threat in the passing attack. Gio is more of an outside the tackles runner and a big time threat in the passing game. But he also is strong enough and tough enough to break tackles and run between the tackles.

They have different strengths to their game, but both are capable and complete RBs.

Dont really recall that.... The 1 thing he said that was sorta like that was that he said the 13 touches he got in a game "was plenty". But in late October / early November of last season, Arians said he wanted to increase Ellingtons workload and get him about 20 touches per game...

But he got hurt in practice a few weeks after that and had a knee injury that forced him to miss some time, so they were cautious with him for the rest of the season.

Plus, that was during his rookie season and Arians loved him some Mendenhall due to their days together at Pitt. And even though hes the Cards RB1 and "bell cow", he wont be used like a traditional bell cow RB.

Ray Rice was taken to the locker room with a shoulder injury. X-ray's negative.

Kaepernick? CK?

he missed Llyod barely on a 50yard TD. Just barely. He looked OK on the 1st drive.
