Everyone jumping to conclusions is wrong, on both sides. I'm glad people are protesting because it got the DOJ involved and there will be solid forensic evidence that puts this case to rest.

I just watched the video of a lifeless 18 yr old. People need to realize that in that community distrust of PD runs deep. Hell, I've seen threads on TD and distrust in PD runs deep here. Different community. Same distrust.

Protestors are what make America great. The police handled them and this situation very poorly. There is never an excuse for riots. It just harms the cause.

The truth is out there and hopefully for all involved it is found. There will be a lot of political and social pressure to get certain results, but I trust in science and the American system to get to the truth.

Prayers to the deceased and his family.

edited: If this was a clean shoot prayers to the deceased, his family, the family of the officer, and the officer.

Random thoughts after watching the 10min video.

i disagree

i think protesting is stupid, irrational, and inefficient. most protestors are just trying to feel like their actions matter and are channeling the mythology of the 60s. people don't want to accept the fact that life is amazing now and want to create a shitty perception of life just so that they can feel important "protesting" their deluded self perceptions
