It seems like more of a trophy than an actual usable weapon.
It only holds about 170 shots in reserve so you blow through them quickly. On strikes with a juggler modifier its practically impossible to use.
The gun melts enemies on patrols and such.
I haven't used it in crucible yet, but I do know I hardly ever lost to one during Iron Banner when using my trusty Suros or Last Word.
