I don't expect him to have a respectful conversation since he is disrespecting me and my fence or he is either oblivious to the situation.

In all realness, I have an ex who's grandmother lived next door to John Gacy.

If vines are your only probelm with this guy, it not a bad situation.

I have this same problem with my new neighbor who's renting the house next door to me except my neighbor is a single mother and she's kind of overweight and it seems like she doesn't give a damn about keeping the yard up. I'm sure by now she's gotten letters from the HOA. I have some overgrown vines growing over my fence in the backyard. I'm going to politely ask her to trim her shite and if she doesn't I'm going to spray weed killer on the portion that's on my side of the fence.

Or maybe your problem is so small and petty that he hasn't noticed it.
