A cattle-ranching couple in southern Arizona hopes that dramatic hidden-camera video showing suspected drug or immigrant smugglers crossing their property will help persuade federal officials to shift resources southward to eliminate what they call a dangerous "no-man’s land” along the border.
“It just confirmed what we already knew,” Jim Chilton, who runs the 50,000-acre ranch with his wife, Sue, said of the video, which was filmed this spring by a border-security advocacy group. …“We have ceded to the cartels 20 miles, 30 miles inside the United States.”
For years, the Chiltons have publicly complained — even testified before Congress -- that their ranch southwest of Tucson, which shares a 5-1/2-mile border with Mexico, has been flooded with smugglers. They’ve told of surprise encounters with groups of migrants – some of them armed –- break-ins at their home and finding piles of trash and clothing left by the trespassers.

But, But, its for the kids and we are all racists for wanting the border closed. I am so glad I moved from that state.

I'm assuming you mean shocked at the media response and not at the video itself.

chemical in the brain normally associated with feelings of happiness and pleasure may also raise the risk of depression.
Researchers say they've found a new way in which prolonged exposure to the chemical messenger dopamine may play a role in depression as well as drug addiction. If confirmed by further studies, they say the discovery could lead to a new understanding of these complex disorders as well as better treatments.
Current antidepression treatments are mostly based on the deficiency or imbalance of the brain chemicals serotonin and norepinephrine, says researcher Li-Huei Tsai, a professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School, in a news release.
"This new study highlights the importance of the dopamine system, a less appreciated target in the current antidepression therapies," he says.
Short-term surges of dopamine are normally associated with feelings of pleasure. But abnormally high concentrations of the chemical messenger are linked to schizophrenia, attention deficit disorder, and other psychiatric disor
slight hijack...too much dopamine is the cause of schizophrenia but also is associated with depressions (as is low serotonin)
I just thought I'd look that up...sorry to hijack
back to the drugs

Why is it that professional news networks can't get a simple video that loads quickly and runs well on their websites?
Geez Louise, that's their business and they have the absolute worst tech solutions one can find.

yeah, I would probably have a pretty big stash of ammo and rifles
but it seems he's doing alright...again, I'd be more concerned if I saw the feds on my property.

Well first it's not really a true statement. Most countries borders are fairly porous. Most also don't have as much incentive to illegally immigrate. Most also have much stricter laws penalizing illegal immigration.
