Nobody. It's silly to even question that he's by far the biggest thing ever in American soccer. And he has been every bit as good as you guys say.

It was a legit question, why can't you answer it seriously?

I was being serious. I have always been a fan of his. Can't really be a fan of US soccer and not be.

I tried but it seems like its a moot point. The sport is 100 years old in this country. I never said anything negative about Landon and the accolades he has earned and respect and admiration for what he has done for the sport here but I also wont disrespect others like Lamar Hunt who have done incredible amount to help grow the sport as well.

Hell, TV coverage has played a significant part in the growth of the sport as well.

Try to read what I said for what is being said instead of trying to find the perceived slight or attack against Donovan, because there isnt one coming from me.

I don't think it is.

Regardless of what you guys may thing, I agree that he's on another level in terms of what he's done for US Soccer and MLS. He's the best outfield player we've ever produced, and he's been outstanding for his country.

It's like trying to argue which other legend is better than Jordan. Bird and Magic had one of the most epic rivalries in sports, and yet, they didn't come close to matching what Jordan did for the league. It transcends the game and results.

Like Jordan, he's unquestionable because of what he means to people here, and that's fine. It's just that some people, including fans from the start of his career, are going to be critical. That's not an attack on him. It's natural.
