A/C + real bathrooms + cheap drinks + free food + no hassle with gear.. all right next door to the stadium.
Anyone else going?
Anyone know if the Band is going to perform at the tailgate or near the stadium prior to entering for pre-game?

Meh. At this point I've seen them like 20 times.

I think most tiger fans would settle for just Ezra if it still included free drinks.

$50 to get inside. Aramark priced beer.
No Thanks

The beer prices were negotiated to be much lower than a typical Aramark event.

$50 to get in, how do you consider that free food?

Yeah I rather party with my bros and pay like $25 or less for everything and not go to a glorified recruiting bash/taste of tiger tailgating.

I think $50 for food, A/C, location, BTE, restrooms, affordable drinks, etc. is a great price to pay to tailgate without any hassle.
I know at least 10 other people going, so I'm in now.

I don't disagree with you at all. Definitely not a bad place to be, just wondering how you came up with the free food part when you pay $50 to get in.
Posted on 8/6/14 at 4:38 pm to TheFlyingDrogbas
I meant the price comes with food. Nothing is ever free.

can the people that put these events on just try a little harder to bring someone different in? "Hey traveling fans, here's a band you can go see in Baton Rouge at least 5 times a year, except they're coming here so its like you didn't have to even leave home at all!!"
"hey traveling fans, normally you only get to hear a talent like David St. Romain in a smoke filled, shite hole daiquiri bar, but for one night only he'll be playing this Houston event. I mean he's fricking terrible, but he puts LSU in his songs so you'll like it"

Yea agreed, but this is a organization raising money for scholarships. They have to keep a low cost structure, and remember they are run by volunteer alumni.

Knock BTE all you want, but it is true. I have heard Ezra, and they are much better.

$50 for BTE tickets? Pass.
This is the kind of commercialized bullshite killing college football. frick these events, frick neutral site games, frick stadiums that don't allow tailgating.
