Took some Mucinex earlier...can I still drink tonight?

Took 2 pills at 8am and another 2 around 1:30 to fight this cold. Feeling much better than earlier. Safe to have a beer tonight?

well, one of the main ingredients in nyquil is alcohol, so if you are looking for a little nap, I'd say that is a good combination...

One of mucinex's active ingredients can be trapped in your esophagus. This ingredient can react violently with alcohol and the reaction is exothermic enough to burn a hole in your throat. If you drink tonight you gotta butt chug it.

LSU wont let you leave the health center with out a pack of that stuff. Pretty sure it's horrible for your liver even without drinking but I always felt like I would get more drunk whenever I was taking it.
