Anyone has any experiencing buying a package on there. Pros/cons??

My wife and I are trying to plan to take a trip for our 10 year anniversary next year and are researching options. There's a 7 day trip with airfare to Italy for like $1400 or so per person on Groupon. This sounds too good to be true.

Its a timeshare. If you are a big enough a-hole, you can get out of the high pressure sales pitch in about an hour and enjoy your vacation.

They are legit.

Most of the package type deals limit to what you can do and fly out of, but they are legit deals.

its typically from only certain airports like JFK, Miami, Or Atlanta.

So you would have to get there first.

I'm not familiar with Groupon in terms of vacation deals.

I've gotten deals through CrowdSavings and LivingSocial for hotel stays. Both were good places. But I haven't done anything besides hotels (I've booked my own airfare and car rental for one, and drove the other time).
