Of course they're delusional, you find that with any fanbase. I'm currently stuck here in Hog territory and I can tell you these are the most delusional morons I've ever met. Most of them think Brandon Allen is a better than average QB and that their defense wont suck because "they've had a year in the system".
The truth of the matter is that LSU and Wisconsin's offenses are going to be very one dimensional, except I trust Jennings or Harris to suck less than Joel Stave. It'll come down to who's defense can stop the run and I don't think Wisconsin's D measures up to the challenge.

I guess ESPN will pickup on the Alvarez comments about how LSU and Bama do not want to play in Camp Randall. Be thankful LSU agreed to Lambeau, that will be a bigger homefield advantage for Wiscy than Houston will be for LSU.

Wisconsin has always had a world of trouble landing big-time prospects unless they grew up in their backyard (i.e. John Clay, Josh Oglesby, Travis Beckum, Lance Kendricks).
Not sure what this post proves other than LSU has more 'stars' attached to its program.

I live in Wisconsin and my experience has been the opposite. Most fans I know are in awe of LSU's talent pool. If they think they have a chance, it is because they are catching us at a time when we have a lot of inexperience. Plus they have Gordon and a solid line, as usual.
But yeah, most UW fans think they will lose.

LSU's D will be better than you think
And Wisconsin's D is much more experienced than you think.

Wisconsin has no returning starters in the front 7 on D
This whole "no returning starters in the front seven" is overblown, in my opinion. There are five players along that front that have started games in their career and saw an abundance of meaningful playing time last season.

Penn State and a promising freshman QB whipped the Badgers in Madison last year.

LSU will follow a similar script in Houston.

Eh, that was the worst game UW played all year. It was a true hiccup. Everyone here in Madison was like, "WTF"? I think the team sleep walked into the game. Stave threw some picks. And then they were too far behind to come back. It happens, but it isn't representative of UW's performance ability last year.
Personally, I'd look to the South Carolina game as more indicative of where UW was last year. It was a close game until the end. South Carolina needed a final drive to ice the game. As was typical for UW, the running game was good but Stave struggled.

Wisky will have a lot of trouble scoring in the red zone. Gordon may get his yards but not his TD's unless they are break-aways. LSU and Wisky will basically trade touchdowns for field goals.
LSU 38-16

Last year, LSU ranked 46th in red zone scoring against FBS teams with winning records.
Wisconsin ranked 52nd.
Neither team is really all that good in the red zone, frankly.

I was talking more in terms of defense.
Our D will step it up and load the box when Wisky gets in the red zone and they will be too one dimensional to score many TD's.
Wiskys inexperience and less talented front seven will obviously not hold up as well in the red zone against a Cam Cameron offense with a talent stacked backfield, receivers, and experienced behemoth O-line.

I think both offenses will run with some success but will have field goals to show for it in the early stages of the game. I believe LSU will wear them down and hit a few big plays to win the game, something like 23-16. I just don't trust the QB situation to think LSU scores 30-40 points.

I hope every non-Tiger fan in the country thinks we have no chance in hell.
