Did I forget to mention that Kerry was specifically NOT invited to the discussions and yet showed up anyway despite being told he was unwelcome?
He should. We have a very specific interest in this. Let Israel throw him out, they wouldn't dare.

The White House, in response, has said that Israeli behavior could put the relationship between the two nations in jeopardy, specifically mentioning Israel's comments about Kerry himself and his plans for the cease-fire.
The only way we are going to get a peace deal done is if Israel feels some loss of support. We want them to stop too, right?

There's a difference between "stopping the fighting temporarily" and "stopping the fighting permanently". And I don't mean genocide.

Letting Israel continue their offensive to root out the last of the tunnels and to take out the remaining weapons caches within Gaza will make it much easier for them to accept a peace.

Because at that point, Hamas will be stuck holding its dick in its hand and hoping that Iran thinks they're a better investment than Assad.

FIFY

BTW, if our POTUS permitted terrorists to build tunnels, stockpile rockets, and form and train armies around our borders; we'd all be screaming.

Israel has to actively go out and strike out at Hams or any of the other groups sworn to destroy Israel. They can' afford to let them get too strong.

Its about survival.
