Pretty sure every house in Louisiana has increased in value over the last year. That doesn't mean that one area isn't in more demand than the other. Try renting out a house in Metairie and then in Lakeview and tell me how you do. It's incredible how fast things go in Lakeview.

If you stop at Canal, you omit Louis XIV, Louisville, Colbert, and Milne---all nice streets.
And the 5800-6200 blocks have some fantastic dwellings as well.
