The west upper deck was torn down at the end of the 2004 season, and construction began on "The Stadium Club." The new suites contain over 3,200 special amenity seats as a well as a state-of-the-art press box. The "Paul Manasseh Press Box" has been named for and dedicated to the memory of the long-time and popular sports information director. Construction on this addition was scheduled to be completed by the beginning of September 2005, but delayed due to Hurricane Katrina. Construction was completed for the 2006 season, bringing the stadium's capacity to 92,400.

This paragraph isn't really right. :/

Jesus we have the gorgeous coliseum facades in 1936 and then almost every expansion after 1950 destroys the aesthetic motif of the stadium.

Two more from LSU's social media accounts.

The quad and Tiger Stadium in 1930:

LSU vs Tulane in 1936. Apparently that one section in the NEZ didn't fill up then, either.

how many of you remember the small stand in the south end zone near the visiting team entrance where the "colored" were allowed to sit?

How things have changed for the better of the country and everyone in it is now treated the same.

It's pretty neat to go back and figure out which buildings are there in this one. Notice the building off by itself to the right, it is the swine palace.

(From wiki)
quote:

In 1992, an historic livestock judging pavilion slated for demolition, and the first building constructed on the current campus of LSU was identified as the future home of the company.

Here's my rough attempt at recreating the current picture to match:

Here's a map of the campus with building names:
