How does that coexistence work out in muslim theocracies?
It's off topic. 808bass said it wasn't possible for Jews and Muslims to coexist in Muslim countries (I provided an example); he didn't mention Muslim theocracies. There's a Jewish Member Of Iranian Parliament
Like I said before, it's irrelevant to the thread. Bass is just trying to divert attention away from his blood lusting pro Israeli argument.
The point that the Jews need a country in order to exist doesn't have much logic to it. There are plenty of countries that would be much less hostile and less expensive to colonize than Israel.

Please don't tell me about peaceful Ethiopia that many have suggested as a homeland for Jews. I'm sure the millions of inhabitants would have been very welcoming of a few million Jews being settled amongst them. Then there was the issue of Ethiopia being a landlocked country until the U.N. decided to make Eritrea part of Ethiopia in 1952. (Imagine that, the U.N. deciding international borders in 1952 without regard to the sentiments of the inhabitants?) The Muslims of Eritrea were not to pleased with this.

The Peron era would have been an ideal time for Jews to assimilate into Argentine society. They would have immediately been scapegoats for the many problems Argentina was experiencing.
Argentina.

It's pretty pointless to play Captain Hindsight about decisions that can't be unmade. 6 and some million Israeli Jews aren't going to up and move to Argentina.

How many Jews were in Iran in 1975? (I'm sure you know where this is going.)
In the Jewish schools in Iran, are they permitted to study Judaism in Persian? Is their headmaster Jewish? Are Jewish families allowed to travel abroad together? If this is not usually allowed, why not?
Sounds like a friggin paradise.

Lol. You continually try to make it appear that Muslims are peaceful, fun-loving chaps who are simply misunderstood and that they really get along great with Jews. It's nonsense. I merely continue to bring up the truth at every point in the thread that you lie about this stuff.

There's a Jewish Member Of Iranian Parliament
5 members of the 290 member Parliament are reserved for religious minorities like Christians, Zoroastrians, and Jews. The people who serve in Parliament must be approved by the Guardian Council and all legislation ends up being run through the Expediency Council. In short, the five parliamentary seats for religious minorities in Iran are window dressing.

A few years ago, why did only 12 Iranian Jews take the offer of $10,000 to relocate to Israel?

But based on their percentage of the population, they're over-represented in the Parliament, not under-represented.

But unfair as it might be, that is water under the bridge. It just is. Palestinians have to find a way forward that involves coexistence with Israel. That is their only way out.

When the Islamic ruling authority picks who is eligible to serve in your token seat, you're not really represented at all.

I agree with your "water under the bridge" synopsis. The Lslamists have to accept the fact that the descendants of European Holocaust survivors are not going back to Europe, but Bibi and the Likudniks have to abandon their dream of Greater Israel and accept the fact the Palestinians aren't going anywhere either. At this point, the only feasible solution is one secular state between the Jordan River to the Sea with equal rights for all, because I don't foresee any future Israeli government forcing 500,000 settlers back across the Green Line.

Call me the day Hamas says the word Israel and accepts the fact Israel is there to stay. Conversely, Israel needs to admit the Palestinians need a land of their own.

The Likudniks wouldn't agree to that even if Gandhi was on the other side.

So what is the West Bank and Gaza (other than a staging ground for attacks on Israel, I mean)?

so you're saying Israel is a safer place for Jews than Argentina because Argentina had a coup?

you haven't posted links, evidence, or any kind of data to this thread. Whenever someone does post facts like Micky Rosenfeld you just deflect it with opinion. At least your arguments are pretty well-worded. I'll give you that.

They still have a vote. More votes than Gazans or west bankers get
