You mean exposed by getting beat on a play while isolated with a 6'4" receiver with no safety help.
exactly. Hope the guy bashing TM is no a Christian. You know, the whole deal about only God passing judgement and all.

Is this clown serious?? First, every cornerback in the history of the game football is going to get beat at some time. It's the nature of the position. Second in the championship game he gave up a couple of passes for not a whole lot of yards and no touchdowns. GTFO

MusicMaster,
Dude, be thankful of what he did bring to LSU. He brought excitement and spark to this program and team. He absolutely balled out his two years here. Yes, he did mess up with something almost any other school would have allowed.. Now this is no excuse for him breaking the rules here, but also realize he had his problems and demons to overcome. You talk about how he should have took care of himself and not the team.. well he did ball for this team.. and well he did need help..
But again like I said instead of being bitter.. be appreciative of the time he did put into the program and the games he helped win here.
You know what the best part about all of this is? He still stayed true to LSU after and LSU remained on great terms with Tyrann. This goes a LONG ways to LSU recruiting St.Aug.. (and Fournette takes #7 btw) and recruiting the entire New Orleans area. This is a guy they look up to and relate with.. and really he is a good dude.

Great fricking point that I'm sure MusicMister doesn't understand.

He don't care.

not saying he will be ready soon but an nfl team can remove a player from the pup list at anytime during preseason ....
as for the poster bashing him , if you cant get behind that guy and at least wish him well then you must be a miserable person ....

Ima TM fan. He's mentoring LA kids and trying to keep his life straight. Hope he gets healthy soon.

Yeah, don't mind what he did as a rookie in the NFL including picking off Drew Brees, blowing up DeSean Jackson's screen, and forcing a fumble in the redzone. In the pros. As a rookie. But he sucks.

Like him or not, he's an injured player trying to recover. Everything else you posted here is irrelevant.

Fair enough, but unless you were a member of the 2012 team that he "let down", your opinion means nothing.

Did you watch any tape of his NFL games? Kid looked very impressive.
Very. And not to diminish the great season that he had, but it's interesting that he only had one forced fumble last year. I think that highlights how important John Chavis was in the type of player that Mathieu was at LSU. I always felt that Chavis' role in TM's LSU career was underplayed.
Another thing that bothered me about the perception of Mathieu was the way the word "instincts" became almost as synonymous as the "Honey Badger" nickname. Yes, he had great instincts, but I think the use of that word in reference to TM downplayed his hard work, preparation, intelligence, and incredible Will.

So him having to cover a tight end who weighed sixty more pounds than him and was at least half a foot taller , with high passes, counts as him being exposed?
And you are a douche.

I know how it works on the rant. If you have something[anything] negative to say about LSU. you get bashed .Right or wrong.

Not true for me. I just think bashing a young kid who made mistakes and is trying to get his shite together is unneccessary. Especially when that player gave more to us football fans in two years than almost any player in LSU history did over 4 years.
