Ok and that's fine. I agree, alcohol is legal and it is worse than some other drugs that are illegal. That is correct.

But this idea that it is just another drug ignores our entire society. Amsterdam still has more pubs than hash bars.

I think it is beyond retarded that I can walk down the street and buy a fifth of whiskey that has the potential to kill me yet I can't legally smoke a bowl.

All comes down to money... Too many people could grow there own.

Anyone who tries to preach another reason is just stupid.

ETA I am for weed being legal, but I understand why everything else isn't.

OP: I get sad when I see such obvious spelling and grammatical errors... But that's just me.

How many people do you know that abuse PCP? I have never met even one!

I've represented a lot of druggies and not one was PCP. Never even heard of anyone arrested for it.

Was alcohol king because it was a lot more familiar at the time? Real question. I don't know.
Two-fold (IMO):

1. Availability. Basically any plant matter can be fermented into alcohol

2. Inherent properties. Liquid, social lubricant, etc etc etc

No. Relatively few people are going to grow their own. Just as few grow their own tomatoes.
There are multiple reasons why different parties want to keep it illegal, but people growing their own is not one of them.

Its super long lasting dope. And the kick is apparently ten times as bad as heroin.
Atleast with suboxone you aren't really getting high.

I don't see anything wrong with having clinics administer the addicts "medicine". But when it's a worse drug than the one you're trying to kick... That's not ok IMO.

Well then let me hear your reasoning?

I'm not saying everyone will, but people will still produce mass quantity and undercut the government.

People are lazy and would rather buy it. Sure a lot of experienced potheads will grow, but that's minuscule to the people who will just go buy it when buying involves a simple trip to the store.

A lot of vegetables can easily be grown in Louisiana, but how many do this? Going to the store is just too easy.

PCP? That is nuts.

I always found it strange that PCP, being a psychedelic disassociative from what I gather, is associated with the African American community. I did know a few black dudes who loved shrooms though. Outside of Jimi Hendrix I've never heard of one doing acid either

You serious?

So all the people supporting themselves by growing pot will just stop because they can buy it in a store? How do you think all these people get bud now?

You clearly have no idea what is going on in the drug game. (not that it's a negative thing, but you just don't know)

I smoked it with some Mexicans. That's who I tend to associate it with (this was in CA). Only once.
