Yeah, I know. Looks pretty cool on tv? You can still see the whole course, right?

They should make people take a test before the get to apply so people like you don't get them...

Miniscule. I got very fortunate to get Friday tickets this past year. Had to double check my confirmation email to make sure it wasn't spam.

So, for those that have been to a practice round (Tuesday), what is the best strategy for viewing purposes? Is it worth it to pick a group and follow them all day, or pick a nice spot, relax, and watch everyone come through?

Watch at home on Golf Channel and give me the tickets.

Never been but I've always thought the practice round was mainly about just soaking up the atmosphere. Walk around and see the entire course in person, eat some cheap sandwiches and drink beer, get your fratty Masters hat, and get some close up photos of the players. You'd have all day so I'm assuming you could follow a group and then just pick a chill spot.

IMO walk the course. Go see where bubba and Phil hit their iconic shots from stuff like that. The just walk around see some groups and stuff like that. The place will blow you away.
Gift shop is amazing. Makes you want to spend so much money. Food is so good too
