How good can Gerald Hawkins be at right tackle? He is a great athlete and was a good baseball and basketball player in high school. At his size he has great NFL potential. What does he need to improve on and could this be his break out year? :dude: :dude:

You want to start a thread for every player? Not trying to be harsh but what is your point?

I like these threads. I get information and insite on players not necessarily in media spotlight.

Maybe you could start a thread for the other 84 members of the team. Or you could read their bios. Or follow Tiger football full time and learn as much as you would like about every player. From the day they are recruited to the day they leave, information is out there on most of these players.

Don't listen to these jackasses. I've never understood why these negatrons don't just ignore the threads they're not interested in. One suggestion, though, is to improve the title. Just add something to indicate what it is about Hawkins you want to discuss.

Good player who is draft eligible after this season. I hope he returns in 2015 and play LT.

Hawkins was the most impressive looking lineman in that oline group pic that was posted here a couple weeks ago. His arms are huge

Thanks for the insight. Didn't know he was that good - hand/eye coordination - of an athlete!

Dude first play of the game Harris comes in and does a play action pass to Fournette who laterals back to Quinn who then jukes a defender only to throw the ball back across the field to Dupre who leaps over a defender and onto the back of Jerald Hawkins (6-6, 301, SO) who then stiff arms a Wisconsin defensive back as he dives into the endzone carrying Dupre.

Then Quinn trots out to kick the extra point only to turn an ankle and have to be replaced by Jamal Adams.

Keep it up Legs! This board needs more threads like these. It shouldn't be just for the "men" who jerkoff to being the first to know-it-all about LSU athletics.
