So you admit that other players on the defense (Allen, Hunter and Rasco) did not perform up to your lofty standards in 2013. You also, in your latest post, admit that you often got headaches from watching Tre White in coverage. Wow, 36 posts since you came on this board this month, and 20 of them you have used to bash Welter and a few other players, but mostly Welter. The second leading tackler on the team, the guy is a leader on the team on the Unity Council, and who by all accounts, including by Les and Chief, is their defensive leader and someone they are counting on heavily in the upcoming season. Both on the field and in mentoring the younger players, teaching the younger linebackers how the position needs to be played. We have no problem discussing LSU football here, but you were never interested in that. You just come on here to anonymously bash LSU players. You no longer have any credibility. Someone who joins the board and immediately becomes obsessed with bashing one LSU player every day has zero credibility. Not hard for everyone to see your agenda. You have quickly become irrelevant, and predictably nobody will be listening when you spew your venom for Welter or any other LSU player. Nice try though. Now you can go back to your job at Wal Mart and picking those carts up from the parking lot.

"Keyboard Gangstas" really crack me up.

P.S.
Question, am I bashing a player, or am I making a relevant point that is related to the Topic of a thread?

P.S.2.
Since I don't think Welter is our best option, I work at Wal-Mart and collect grocery baskets.

I'm still waiting for someone to post an on-field analysis as to why Welter looks better than the guys behind him. That has yet to happen in this thread.

P.S.3

It may sound harsh, but being Leader of the Unity Counsel has no bearing on what happens from whistle to whistle on the field.

I really can't wait for this season to start. As it all will play out.

So, if Garret or one of our JR LB's takes that spot, do I have your permission to ask for a promotion to bag boy. I mean, it's hot out there in the summer while I'm collecting baskets.

If Welter turns into 1st team, Butkus award type talent, I'll collect every basket in that parking lot, without a word of complaint.

P.S.4
Any team, no matter the conference, should expect that their MLB be close to the team lead in tackles. That doesn't mean that the LB made impactful or game changing plays, or that coaches gameplaned around that players talent's because he was such a beast.

Their are 100 plus D1 teams, do you think every LB that starts is a game changer? Not at all.

My point is, I feel as though we have game changers that are sitting on the bench. Welter has shown little ability to drastically impact a game.

This is not me being a basher, this is me stating facts.
Some people have trouble dealing with facts.

I'll say again, it's like thinking Shepard would work out his problems at WR. I knew that OBJ and J Landry were better players the day they stepped onto campus.

Would I have been a Shepard basher for expecting the coaches to work in Landy and OBJ over Shepard, who was by all accounts, a team leader and spokesperson for the program.

Name calling doesn't overrule logic.

It shows a lack of substance in your arguement.

What has Welter done that makes you so confident in him?

Let's stay on topic, and let me collect my baskets in peace
