check out 'dig!'. it follows both the brian jonestown massacre & the dandy warhols, and the rivalry they had (or still have? i don't know) with each other. it's an enjoyable trainwreck of a movie, the highlight being BJM playing a gig with a a bunch of label reps in attendance, and it goes down in flames before the end of the first song....i'm not a fan of either band, but it's still a must-watch movie for fans of documentaries...

This is one of my favorite ones of all time. Well explained above. You do not need to be a fan of either band to enjoy this one.

Dig is a great one. I own it, I should have thought of it.
There's a good one about the Flaming Lips "The Fearless Freaks". It kind of loses points because of how much that band has started to suck in recent years
