I'm sure they each received a personalized invitation from Obama to travel to the US for immediate inclusion on the welfare rolls and instant voting rights with the understanding that they only vote democrat. It's also very likely that he struck a deal with the Mexican gov to allow passage through Mexico to the US. All very, very likely.
